Life Lessons from Russia and Ukraine War

If you’ve been observant of the war between Russia and Ukraine, you’ll notice many hard-working Ukrainians have fled their home to other places of refuge.
What does this mean for them, economically?
Well,
LOSS OF JOB, LOSS OF BUSINESSES AND POSSIBLY FINANCIAL QUAGMIRE for those who live on a paycheck to paycheck basis.
Three KEY LESSONS you could learn from the crisis
👉Some Ukrainian citizens will lose their businesses and investment. Some might not want to return home rather relocate to a less threatened economy out of fear of similar situations reoccurring in the future.
When this happens, the winners will be those UKRAINIANS who built their wealth around their INTELLECT.
These Ukrainian citizens stand a 95% chance of moving to a new economy and establishing their presence/ business within a short time.
👉Those who built their wealth on physical products/properties might have it tough bouncing back [let’s hope their establishments and properties are not damaged in the process]
👉Those who rely on paychecks to get through the day will probably suffer more than others. It’ll even be worst if they’ve not cultivated the habit of saving for an emergency.
While we don’t anticipate witnessing such life tragedies in the future, we shouldn’t be faked out in the summer because winter will surely surface, someday.
WHAT CAN YOU DO TO PREPARE FOR THE WINTER?
👉Build digital skills that can be used anywhere on earth to earn money. We live in a global community where results are rewarded accordingly.
👉Build strategies to help you export your knowledge to other continents. Ukrainians who render digital services to American, Australian, and African businesses are less likely to get hit economically.
👉Don’t stick to old patterns. Utilize digital tools for wealth creation.

Life is not a rehearsal section. Life is a serious business. You must let your voice be heard.
Whatever you’re doing, be it a business or activism, make it a point to keep increasing the tempo of your voice.
Let your voice be heard on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, Television, and on the Streets.
âś…If you’re a speaker, speak value to your audience’s life.
✅If you’re a writer, write valuable content for your audience consumption
✅If you’re selling products, sell products that will add value to your audience.
Here’s Why!
Someday, YOUR SHEEP WILL KNOW YOUR VOICE AND THEY WILL FOLLOW YOU.
If they don’t respond to your products, posts, services, and bring you referrals; they’re probably not your sheep {yet} or they’re yet to trust your voice.
“My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand.”

“As a shepherd, you have to spend your WAKING HOURS CARING AND TENDING TO YOUR SHEEP.

Zero Dollar Business Formula

In summer, 2014 I was legitimately BROKE, devastated and had no one to run to for financial support.
I JOB hunted for 2 months and 3 weeks with no employer giving me a chance. It was like the world was against me as even my prayers weren’t going above the ceiling.

LIFE WAS TOUGH.

At a point, I considered starting a business but my ACCOUNT BALANCE wasn’t looking good so that option got ruled out.
Consumed with the thought of having no MONEY, no JOB, and a few days left before my RENT expires, I fell into depression. Not a good place to be. Happiness was far from me.

Someone recommended I join a Network Marketing company. Awesome idea but I couldn’t afford the REGISTRATION FEE.

My self-esteem dropped. I couldn’t associate with my peers and I gained some weight from eating junk foods.
One hot afternoon, I was on my way to a coffee shop but accidentally passed my bus stop so I found myself next to a book store. I quickly rushed in to find a book to get me out of depression.
That afternoon, I bought an amazing BOOK that helped me move from looking for JOBS to looking for EMPLOYEES for my newly discovered business idea.
I followed the steps in that book and Boy! I was able to START my business with “ZERO capital” plus I employed individuals looking for jobs that same SUMMER.

Again,

In 2018, I chose to start another business with zero capital and I’ve made some millions from it.
After doing this for the second time, I discovered something interesting. Money isn’t the problem why you’re yet to start your business.
In the last seminar, I was invited to speak in 2021, I shared most of the things that made me start two businesses without startup capital.

Excelling in 2022

There are two ways to make 2022 significantly different from the previous years.
You can either intentionally create change for yourself or you wait for things (the economy) to change.
Those who go after making changes do these by investing in personal development. They constantly read good books, go for free or paid seminars, buy courses, pay for coaching sessions because they understand it’s easier to access a new address with the help of a GPS. They try new things and intentionally ask good questions.

However,

Those who wait for things to change hate knowledge. They despise King Solomon’s advice “wisdom is the principal thing. Get wisdom” They avoid buying books because they believe they’re smart enough to be great but still underdog due to the country they find themselves in.

They believe motivational speakers are scams. How can anyone start with nothing and amass a fortune?
They believe the government is the reason they’re not doing well, economically. They’d never consider risking the usual for the unusual.

They’d complain it cost too many Megabytes of data to watch a good video that will transform their lives for good. They’d rather spend their data watching miracle church services and funny Instagram/TikTok skits to escape the moment than on good documentary.

They always seek free services. They’d not even consider paying for a course online, buying an insightful book, or paying for seminars.

If you want things to change in 2022, you must invest in the things that will help you get results quicker.

Internet Data and your Growth

Internet data, be it cellular or WiFi is a must-have in massive volume for those looking to live a sophisticated life. One of the things affecting the personal growth of many citizens of third-world countries is their understanding of “The power of Internet data” in today’s economy.
Many still see data as something that is easily exhaustible, something to be used to access only basic information with fewer Megabytes requirement. Thus the reason they mostly use it for Facebooking, Whatsapping, and Instagramming.
To access the real pieces of information that can transform your life, (most of which comes in the form of videos, webinars, e-classes, audios, etc.) you need a massive volume of data available at your disposal.
It’s true Facebook offers a “data-free mode” to enable people to access Facebook without active internet data. This option was made available to increase the traffic/ user retention on the platform, not necessarily because Facebook loves you. Thus the reason they don’t permit you to access photos and videos.
In North America and most advanced nations, data (internet) is life. It’s a tool through which goods and services are transported from one location to another, business meetings are conducted, information gets shared, knowledge is being acquired, Schooling takes place, etc… They do not understand the idea of data having a cap to it.
It baffles me when I see young people wanting to become outliers in their area of discipline being economical with their data subscriptions. Subscribing a few gigabytes of data per month isn’t going to do you any justice.
Instead of investing in high-end fashion, channel your investment to large data purchases. You need a large data volume to access life-changing information at a faster pace.
Many are scared of attending online classes/ webinars out of fear of exhausting their data. Their subscription is just enough to keep them active on social media; watching Instagram fights and listening to gossips.
What a mediocre lifestyle!
Learn to invest in internet data. It’s your best bet to achieving more in life.

Achieving Excellence

Becoming a person of excellence might require you to practice limited association. In severe cases, the discontinued association will be required.
Here’s why!👇
Many who may wish to grow beyond their current life phase will find it difficult because of their association. Some of you have friends and neighbours you spend a fraction of your days with who are neither impacting you positively nor bringing up conversations around personal growth.
Now, let’s face it;
Do you currently have friends who discuss the next 10 years with you? When last did your circle brainstorm the NEXT BIG THING, the strategies and classes (courses) you’ll take to become an authority in that (NEXT BIG THING) within the next 10 years.
Always have this in mind
Your competitors are not those you see every day (your friends). You’re in for a global race and you shouldn’t assume you’re excelling simply because you’re outperforming your neighbours or your colleagues at work. This is an era of global competition. Not neighbourhood competition.
If you’re on your way to attaining excellence, you must remain focused on your goals. Society always has something (to serve the populace) to distract the “UNSUSPECTING” from working on their goals. The Big Brother Naija TV-Show for instance has stagnated a fraction of Nigerian youths (not against it for those who tread cautiously) who were committed to watching the TV-Show and campaigning for their star in place of building their future for 90 days.
If you can, avoid distractions from gossip blogs. I’d recommend you discontinue your friendship with them. They are one of the top ENEMIES OF WISDOM. They steal your valuable time and offer you nothing in return. Rather, they benefit from your consumption of their gossip.
Last, especially for those in third world countries, invest in large volumes of internet data. This will change the game for you if used positively. Facebook has provided “free-mode” data to keep users active on the platform without a data subscription. That’s thoughtful of them. However, those videos that will illuminate your life can’t be watched using “free-mode” data.
Always have a good monthly budget for data. Upgrade from subscribing in MB to GB.
MB will give you just enough data volume to help you go through social media news feeds. You can’t learn the deep pieces of stuff with MB.

How to Build Your Dream

Funding a war is expensive. World War ll cost the United States a whopping $4 trillion. The Vietnam war cost $843.63 billion. The Biafra war cost Nigeria ÂŁ130 million.

IT SIMPLY COSTS MONEY

We are all fighting a war. War against poverty, low income, poor health, timely reception of information, stagnation, etc.

You’ve got to spend money to fund winning these wars. Shouting AMEN during the 2021 cross-over-night service would not do the magic in 2022.

Here are some weapons you can acquire to win the war in 2022

âś…You’ve got to invest in INTERNET DATA. If you’re living in a third-world country, you can’t afford to play smart with this. Your uplifting has a 90% dependency on internet data. You must have a reasonable monthly budget for it. At the minimum, you should be consuming 40GB of data per month. The jobs are on the internet, wealth flows on the internet, communication and education are on the internet, transportation of resources and raw materials all take place on the internet.
You need data to watch those quality videos that will move your life 45% ahead.

âś…You have to pay for training. Self-education costs money. Stop assuming you can learn it yourself. This will keep you 5 years behind. Learn to pay courses, webinars, seminars, conferences and consultation services from people who have successfully gone through that path.

âś…You need to read. You can’t afford to be lazy with reading. Buy books, buy Newspapers, magazines, etc. reading blogs isn’t the same as reading the business corner side of a Newspaper. It might surprise you how many business ideas are published on Newspapers columns daily.

âś…You need to invest in your work tools. Get a good laptop, smartphone, internet connection, cameras, etc. Acquiring whatever is required for you to do a quality job should be your top priority if you must win the war in 2022. You wouldn’t be judged based on your financial strength or your country of residence’s available infrastructure. In the global marketplace, everyone is considered a champion. Don’t allow your customers to think otherwise of you

âś…You need to invest in your brand. It’ll cost you some money to do that. You have to pay professionals to help you with quality branding or you pay to learn the techniques of getting yourself known. Whichever is the case, you are as good as your brand. Remember humans only see the outside; God sees the inside.

Joining The Big League

Stepping into the BIG LEAGUE will require you to do the things others are not willing to do. You’ll need to invest in yourself, and grow your brand. You’ll need to build your online portfolio “website”. LinkedIn is a great platform to showcase your work portfolio but that alone wouldn’t do the magic.

Your social media game gotta be strong. A fan page on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and possibly a personal blog “attached to your website” will be needed. Facing the camera or crowd might not be the easiest for many but it’ll be required to join the big league.

Eliminate your fear of being judged by the general public. You will to be judged regardless so ride on and build the muscles to accept criticism for your work. Toughen up and be comfortable with being vilified. When you eventually join the big league, they’ll be forced to see you differently. At the moment, enjoy the ride and stay true to your hustle.Remember to keep the enemies of wisdom 10 miles away.

Here’s how you get the bigger reward; ADD ACTIVISM TO YOUR JOB.
If you’re a lawyer by profession, add activism to your job. If you’re a doctor, add activism to your job. If you’re a chemistry teacher, add activism to your job. Whatever it is you’re doing as a job, add activism by teaching others what they need to know about your profession and the latest trends in your profession.
This will accelerate your personal growth and put you in the INFLUENCER ECHELON.
Here’s how you go about it👇
Create a social media page, brand it to give you the professional look, and start sharing content with the end in mind.
Social media is here to serve all who wish to use it to their advantage. It can make or destroy you. It is the most elevated platform of the century to display skills and talent.
If you remain committed to doing your activism, you’ll gain celebrity status within a reasonable time.
This principle works for all industries. A proud roadside hawker can gain celebrity status if she/ he applies this principle. The bartender is likely to become a celebrity if this principle is applied to his/her job.

Skill Vs. Degree Economy

The later part of the 20th century saw a huge rise in demand for HIGH-INCOME UNIVERSITY DEGREE. Acquiring any of these high-income degrees keeps you on track with becoming one of those in the higher economic echelon. It’s even easier and quicker if you obtain any of these high-income degrees from a western university.
The dream of many 20th century parents was to see their children graduate high school and proceed to College/ University to study either Medicine, Accounting, Law, or Engineering. These were considered high-income university degrees because a graduate of these programs stands a higher chance of working with an oil servicing company, Big corporations, hospitals, Big accounting firms/ banks, construction companies, and law firms.
However,
In the wake of the 21st century, the world embraced the internet like never before. New opportunities emerged for people to transact businesses faster and easier. Communication became easier and likewise transportation. The competition became global and outsourcing a job to other countries became a norm.
Many lost their jobs as technology became disruptive. A typist without computer knowledge quickly gets replaced in the marketplace. An accountant who’s refused to take some computing/ digital classes got replaced swiftly by the firm.
This gave birth to “The Skill Economy”. This economy values SKILLS above University Degree. Those who are yet to catch up with this reality always wonder why they graduate university and getting a good job becomes tougher than acquiring a university degree.
The reason is simple. Get multiple job skills. Especially High Income on Demand Skills.
Here’s some of them if you’re interested in learning any;
Coding, Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud Certification, Copywriting, Sales, Forex Trading, eCommerce, Digital Marketing, Web/App Design, SEO, Content Marketing, User Experience (UX), blockchain, video editing, etc.
These are high-Income Skills anyone can develop with little to no assistance.
